    In keeping with our mission and unique style of development and management, Amble is composed of tightly-integrated specialized departments and a close-knit team of cross-disciplinary executives. Our five-person executive team has over 75 years of collective experience in the industry.

    Benjamin Loomis, Founder & President

    Benjamin LoomisThe Founder and President of Amble Resorts, Benjamin Loomis, has two decades of experience in the architecture, construction, and real estate industries. Ben graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Masters of Science in Real Estate Development and a Masters of Science in Architectural Studies, and obtained his Bachelors of Architecture from Auburn University. Before founding Amble Resorts in 2007, Benjamin managed the development of over $200 million of residential and mixed-use projects, spread over multiple geographic markets and product types. He has also worked as an architect for Tigerman McCurry and other Chicago architects, and as a contractor and design-builder.

    Nathalie d'Amman, Director of Resort Operations

    Nathalie d'AmmanNathalie has 14 years of international experience in the hospitality industry, and has worked with some of the world's most renowned hotel brands. Before joining Amble Resorts, Nathalie held the position of Vice President of Global Brand Management & Operations for Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Nathalie graduated from Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne in Switzerland, and has worked in Spain, Mexico, Switzerland, the Caribbean Islands and the Maldives for Ritz-Carlton, Hyatt Regency, and independent hotels. She opened and acted as General Manager of the Casa Camper brand's flagship hotel in Barcelona, and worked as General Manager for Komandoo Island Resort in the Maldives. At Starwood, Nathalie oversaw the global redevelopment of Le Meridien brand, developing operational standards and procedures, marketing and action plans, and initiating new brand programs.

    Kent Smith, Chief Financial Officer

    Kent SmithKent is a former Certified Public Accountant with an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and twenty years’ experience in the real estate industry, working both domestically and internationally. Kent has in-depth experience with all aspects of reporting, underwriting, financing, and asset management, which he gained while working as Director of Portfolio Management for Equity Office Properties, as Vice President for Citigroup Investments, and in positions with Transwestern Investment Company, the Millennium Global Solutions Group, and Ernst & Young.

    Kimshasa Baldwin, Director of Design

    Kimshasa BaldwinKimshasa is a passionate designer, believing design is about the experience. With 15 years' experience in both architecture and interior design, she is a licensed architect, interior design NCIDQ certificate-holder, and LEED accredited design professional. Presenting an extensive hospitality and entertainment design portfolio, Kimshasa has worked in New York, Miami and Chicago with renowned design firms Tony Chi and ICRAVE Design. She has held key positions on a wide range of projects, including hotels, casinos, restaurants, spas and nightclubs; clients she's worked with include Wolfgang Puck, W Hotel, Marriott, and Disney.

    Michael Assofsky, Director of Marketing

    Michael Assofsky Michael has more than 12 years experience in marketing and development of luxury real estate. He graduated from Boston University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, concentrating in Marketing and Finance, and spent six years with Toll Brothers. He brings creative direction, a clear understanding of the company’s vision and the ability to execute and grow the Amble brand as well as sub-brands.
