Infinity-Edge Pool

Beachside Service

Your every seaside need will be catered to while you bask in the sun and dip into the ocean on Playa Palenque. This crescent-shaped beach of soft, black-and-tan zebra-striped sand is three-quarters of a mile long, includes private beach cabanas and is anchored by a bar & grill and towel service.

  During the day, our Bar & Grill serves simple island fare in the cool shade or out on the beach. As sunset infuses the horizon with fiery colors, crisp table linens and shining flatware adorn tables placed on Playa Palenque, transforming it into a romantic beach dining area with an exquisite tasting menu. The scents of the sea mix with fresh produce from our farm to whet your appetite for luscious island cuisine.

Organic Farm

Sink your teeth into something fresh from our on-site produce farm. Grown from trees planted generations ago and from our own permaculture gardens, we carry on the tradition of producing juicy mangoes, luscious limes, velvety avocados, and a bevy of other fruits and vegetables for the island restaurants... and your afternoon snack. And we'll be planting choice seedlings from our farm near many vacation homes and hotel suites — so you will be able to reach out and grab a fruit right from the tree growing next to your deck.

Forest Preserve

We've carefully laid over ten miles of trail within the 240-acre nature preserve and around the island so that you can safely navigate the coastline and wild jungle. The jungle, with old-growth trees over 10 feet in diameter and up to 100 feet tall, offers a whole new adventure every time you enter. You may come upon a 6-foot-long, rainbow-hued iguana, a giant anteater, or a family of howler monkeys. Every slope and turn brings a new surprise, a new view and a new perspective of the massive ecological wonder that is the Isla Palenque forest preserve.

When the second phase of Isla Palenque opens, we'll have even more luxury amenities, like our fully serviced-marina and yacht club, professionally-staffed kids center, fitness center, and jungle spa.
